Mars at the Hydro
Born Peter Gene Hernandez, Bruno has been performing music since he was three and his uncle — an Elvis impersonator — encouraged him to come on stage.
His incredible rise to fame has been in no small way thanks to the musical training inherent in a musical family.

Hide AdMars’ second album, Unorthodox Jukebox, has produced three hit singles with Locked Out of Heaven, When I Was Your Man and Treasure being hits not only in the US, but in several countries around the world.
And now he’s bringing his Moonshine Jungle world tour to Glasgow’s newest venue, the Hydro, to get west of Scotland audiences’ feet a-tapping.
This multi-award-winning artiste will be entertaining the crown with hits such as Grenade, The Lazy Song, Just the Way You Are and many more.
Mars is being labelled a superstar, these days — not bad for someone who has only two albums under his belt.
Given the speed with which his star has risen, this time next year he may well be described as the grandfather of pop.
Bruno Mars is at the Hydro on October 6. Tickets are £38.50 , doors open at 7pm.
