Win for Lenzie but leaders too strong for Allan Glen's

The league leaders were ahead after five minutes, Wilson running in to score after a good handling move by the backs. Rhodes converted.
Glen’s manufactured a couple of opportunities to level the score but poor handling let them down.
Although the teams seemed reasonably matched Accies’ slick handling, pace and the excellent strategic kicking of Rhodes allowed them to run in another three tries before half-time by Walker, Clark and Wilson, two of which Rhodes converted for a 26-0 lead.

They did eventually break through with a Gray try, conmverted by Rhodes, and a further penalty.
With ten minutes to go Glen’s had a spell of sustained pressure culminating in Thomson dashing over for a consolation try and converting himself.
This Saturday Glen’s are at home to Kilmarnock, kick-off 2pm.
