Good Friday passion play by Lanarkshire actors can be viewed online
The production had been intended for the streets of Hamilton and East Kilbride by Drama Kirk - but lockdown has made this an impossibility.
Yet members of Drama Kirk have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure they can still bring the timeless story to Christians - and extend the reach of the play as they do so.

Hide AdLiz Blackman, who produces the Hamilton play, says, “With the option of bringing a live performance to Hamilton not possible this year, we began to think about how we might ensure a community celebration of Easter.
“ So, we decided to put together a scaled-down version of the play for broadcast on YouTube.”
“We faced some challenging choices as the COVID-19 pandemic gathered pace. Our rehearsals were still progressing, but we were conscious that, at any point, we may have to cancel the performances.
“We took the difficult decision to change our plans and focus our efforts on filming what we could of the production, to ensure we still had something worthwhile to share.
