Carrickstone has potential

A new community could be built in Cumbernauld after planning permission in principal was granted by North Lanarkshire Council.
Scottish Enterprise have outlined the potential for development at a site north of Eastfield Road in Carrickstone in the planning application, which was submitted last May.
They were seeking planning permission in principal for the construction of a residential development, which would incorporate a community hub.
