New Douglas Primary School opens

THE new Douglas Primary School has opened its doors for the first time.
The school is the latest to be rebuilt as part of the Council’s ground breaking £812 million Primary Schools Modernisation Programme and the bright and airy six classroom school didn’t disappoint the staff or the pupils who will be using it on a daily basis.
