2 Bob Rocket blast off at Twa Corbies

CRASH landing at the increasingly popular Twa Corbies this Friday night are 2 Bob Rocket.

This power trio has been performing all over the Central Scotland pub and club circuit for more than a decade, and have also performed in festivals all over Europe.

2 Bob Rocket are Robin Neilson on bass guitar and vocals, Belfast’s Brian Rawson on guitar and Dougie Hunter on drums.

Brian Rawson has played with many bands over the years, including Brian Connolly’s 1970s glam rock legends Sweet.

2 Bob Rocket cover big hits by big name acts such as Biffy Clyro, Kings of Leon, Feeder, Wheatus, Thin Lizzy and Stereophonics, to name just a few.

Doors open at 8pm and entry is pegged at a very reasonable £3.

Meanwhile, next month Big Ted’s Party will take to the stage after their previously-planned gig had to be cancelled due to flu, while Viki Getty and Matt Morrow will perform a “one-off” collaboration.

And Glasgow rockers Swagger are also scheduled to give their first performance in Cumbernauld.
