Bard caught on camera

There’s a certain fellow who is inspiring a huge following locally as 100 youngsters gather regularly to pay him tribute.

In fact, they think so much of him they’ve just shot a film inspired by his work and it’s actually the second they’ve done. Only this time the numbers involved have doubled within a year.

Their idol is not a pop star or someone pulled out a reality television show but needs no introduction globally. He is William Shakespeare and his timeless works have fired the imagination of local theatre group Shakespeare’s Kids.

Last week, the group trooped out to the scenic backdrop of Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton to film A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with a crate of fairy costumes and even a Llaso Apso called Tristam who appears on screen.
