A concert promises to strike a chord with music lovers and raise much-needed funds for Girlguiding Dunbartonshire.

The fundraiser takes place at Clydebank Town Hall on Saturday, February 8, at 7pm, with toe-tapping entertainment provided by the renowned Bearsden Fiddlers.

Tickets cost £10, with all proceeds going towards a new Catterburn Outdoor Activity Centre. The fully-accessible centre will serve all Girlguiding members, from Rainbows to Rangers, in Milngavie and Bearsden.

A huge fundraising campaign is being launched to build the new centre near Croftamie. It will replace the Brownie House on the site, which was devastated by flooding in January 2023.

Lorna Hamilton, County Commissioner for Girlguiding Dunbartonshire, said: “We are excited to bring an evening jam-packed with music, fun and fiddler music, to Clydebank Town Hall.

“We hope to raise lots of money to build the new Catterburn Outdoor Activity Centre, and ensure there’s a home-away-from-home for our members to enjoy new adventures and make lasting memories with their friends.”
