Celebs support charity fund-raiser

A Cumbernauld based charity is hoping to raise an extra-large cup of full of cash...by auctioning BRAS!

The Scottish Spina Bifida Association is holding their annual ‘Ladies Who Give an F’ gala lunch which is part of the ‘Gordon Ramsay, F is for Fundraising Appeal’. The lunch will be hosted by T.V interior designer John Amabile and will include an auction of bras signed by celebrities such as One Direction, Alesha Dixon, Marcus Collins and The Wanted.

SSBA Acting Head Fundraiser Claire Cogan-Turner told us “ The Ladies who Give an F lunch has gained quite a reputation for being a sexy fundraising event and this year will be no different; following a sparkling champagne reception and two course mouth-watering lunch, we will be hosting an afternoon of amazing entertainment.”

The charity - which supports all those affected by Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in Scotland – has raised more than £100,000 over the last five years from their gala lunch. Organisers will be double-delighted if they can top the £33,000 raised by last years event. The Lunch will be taking place on Sunday, May 27 at Glasgow’s Crown Plaza Hotel with tickets still available.
