Celtic treble ace Stuart Armstrong to be gala star

Treble winning Celtic star Stuart Armstrong will be the star guest at this Sunday's St Cadocs Youth Club Gala Day at Whitecraigs Rugby Club.

The 25-year-old midfielder, scorer of the equaliser in Celtic’s 2-1 Scottish Cup final triumph over Aberdeen on Saturday, will be a key man for Scotland in the crucial World Cup qualifier against England at Hampden on June 10.

He will join Clyde 1 DJ Gavin Pearson at an event running from noon to 4.30pm, featuring bubble football, army assault course, human table football, kids entertainers, novelty games area, sack and three legged races.

There will also be barbecue and beer bar, bouncy castles, home baking, tombola, beat the goalie and obstacle course.
