Classical singers woo Eastwood by candlelight
CLASSICAL fans are invited to Eastwood Park Theate this week for a full-costume show by candlelight.
The producers of A Viennese Strauss Gala present Magical Mozart by Candlelight — an evening of the composer’s most romantic pieces performed by an international cast, from Chinese-born soprano Li Li to Bulgarian soprana Vasileva Diana Evgenieva and South African baritone Denver Martin Smith.
Expect excerpts from The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, Don Giovanni and more — not to mention a little post-Valentine’s romance.
Magical Mozart by Candlelight is on at Eastwood Park Thurday, February 20. 7.30pm performance — tickets £17 (£15 conc).
