Columban Singers prepare for concert
THE Columban Singers are making preparations for their Grand Charity Concert to be held on Friday, April 23 in Kilsyth Anderson Church.
Guest artistes will be baritone Carlo Pia, soprano Gillian Strang and concert violinist Emilie Mory. Emilie is a final-year graduate at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and hails from Montreal.
The chosen charity will be Strathcarron Hospice and it is hoped for a large attendance for such a worthwhile cause.
Tickets will be available at 5 each from members of the Columban Singers or by phoning Andy Muldoon (825798), Harry Dempsey (821045) or Charlie Waddell (823051).
