Competition’s a royal prize draw

CHILDREN in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth areas could be in with the chance of scooping a prize fit for a King or Queen with the launch of a Diamond Jubilee themed art competition from housebuilding firm, Miller Homes.

Kids can draw or paint a portrait of The Queen to celebrate her 60th year on the throne. Throughout May, entries can be posted to or dropped off at Miller Homes’ marketing suite in Cumbernauld where they will be displayed over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.

Budding artists can enter individually or through their school, with one lucky winner bagging a family ticket to M&D’s Theme Park and the added chance of winning £50 of art supplies for their school.

Neil Gaffney, sales director at Miller Homes West Scotland said, “We’re excited to be launching our fun art competition for local children and can’t wait to see the entries.”
