Daniel rocks the Barrowlands to help boost anti-bullying campaign

Talented young rock star Daniel Parks from Kirkintilloch brought the house down at Glasgow's Barrowlands as part of an anti-bullying campaign. .

The 11-year-old St Ninians High School singer took centre stage at the iconic venue earlier this month as part of a ’Next Generation’ event to showcase young performers, launched earlier this year.

The host of acts took part in the gig to bring awareness to the Clutha Trust Charity’s anti-bullying initiative and the Lenzie Youth Club player admits he’s delighted to have achieved a once in a lifetime experience - twice.

He said: “I have been 
fortunate enough to have had the chance to play the famous Barrowland Ballroom twice in the last year.

“Most acts don’t ever to get on to that stage so it was a t
errific moment for me and the rest of the acts.

“Everyone who was involved in the event had a fantastic time.”
