Dead Man Fall coming home

This weekend (Saturday, May 10) sees local band ‘Dead Man Fall’ headline The Circle Music Venue in the Cumbernauld Village.

Formed from the ashes of Glasgow indie stalwarts Odeon Beatclub, Dead Man Fall was initially started as a studio project by Des McCabe while still in OBC, sometime in 2009.

The band has known each other from school and share similar music influences from New Order to Primal Scream. They released debut single, ‘How Could It Come To This?’ in May 2012 and are set to release their latest single in the next few weeks called ‘Bang Your Drum’.

We caught up with frontman Des McCabe who told us, ‘We’ve played a few gigs now but not in Cumbernauld yet. We’re really looking forward to it and it will be great to play in our home patch.’

Dead Man Fall are, Des McCabe – Vocals, Bass, Vincent Brownlow – Guitar and Backing Vocals, Kevin McLaughlin – Guitar and Gareth McLeod – Drums and Backing Vocals.

Support on the night comes from ‘Farkow’,a young Cumbernauld band who have been generating a lot of interest and recently played the famous Glasgow venue Kings Tuts to rave reviews.

Also supporting is another local artist, singer/songwriter Jordan Reid, who will blow you away with his live performance, an amazing talent and he is sure to entertain the crowd.
