FARMERS market returns to Queen’s Park. 10am-2pm — free event.

BIG Positive Weekend arrives at Silverburn as part of a cities tour. Dance, shop, watch, drive, paint, win — as long as it’s a positive action. Free event running throughout the day.

CHARITY night in aid of the National Autistic Society. Scooby Doo van, facepainting, balloon modelling, tombola, raffle and more from 7pm — entry £2 (kids free).

MUMMIES morning at Whole Foods. Have a cuppa and breakfast with like-minded mums from 9am — free event.

FIT for a King holiday club comes to Maxwell Mearns Castle Church. 10am-12.30pm each day this week for primary aged children. Free, but donations welcome. Children must be registered — www.maxwellmearns.org.uk or 639 5169. Also at Eaglesham Church.

SUMMER holiday fun continues at The Avenue, this week with the al fresco Funzone, including trampoline, slide, softplay and Irn Bru bus. 12-4pm (weather permitting) — free to join.
