Friday October 25

SPOOKTASTIC walking trail at Whitelee. 6.30-8.30pm, leaving from the visitor centre. Free event — dress warmly.

Saturday October 26

MAGIC Mammals — a chance to get up close and personal with Rouken Glen’s small animals. 9-11am, and free to join.

SOUTHSIDE Friends of the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice host a coffee morning in Giffnock Bowling Club. £1 entry includes tea/coffee and baking. Stalls and more, 10am-noon.

HALLOWEEN at Whitelee windfarm. Free activities 11am-4pm, including scary windsocks, face painting, shadow puppets, arts and crafts.

FAMILY fun day as Clarkston playgroup celebrates Halloween at Williamwood parish church. 4-6pm, tickets are £5 per family.

Sunday October 27

COMPOSER James MacMillan CBE speaks about faith and music at Newlands South church, from 2.30pm.

Monday October 28

SOUP and sandwich lunch at Mearns parish church. Homebaking and more from 12.30-2pm. Costs £3.

Thursday October 31
