Anne Russell, a member of the group, said: “There are many stalls already booked with a wide range of gifts plus a very special visitor will be attending to give the children a wee sweetie on the day, and find out what they would like for Christmas!

“We thank all of the shops in Kilsyth and Croy who have donated to us for the raffle.”

Anyone interested in setting up a stall, priced at £5, should contact the historical society on 01236 823252. To donate an item as a raffle prize, please use the same phone number.
