From Cumbernauld to the Big Apple

The 22-year-old will enrol at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts this Friday - the same school that trained the likes of Lauren Bacall, Adrien Brody and Carrie-Anne Moss, to name but a few of the stars to have passed through its doors.

Kyle organised a party in Eastfield Forge Hall a few weeks ago to help raise funds for the trip.

She said: "The party was a great success , raising over 700 and many prizes were donated by friends, Saks Hair Salon Glasgow and Inner Beauty Salon in Craigmarloch.

"I'd also like to say a big thanks to Tracy at the Forge Hall.

"I leave on Friday I am rather excited to say the least!"
