Giffnock players are all Pals together

They take action, and become the smallest town in England to raise a Pals Volunteer Brigade.
When they arrive in France, the brutal reality of the trenches is beyond anything they could prepare for; the effect on the women and children left behind in their previously close-knit community is devastating.

On at Eastwood Park Theatre from Wed-Sat, April 15-18. 7.30pm. £13.
In addition, there is a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday.
This production sees some new faces appearing with Giffnock Theatre Players, the cast including a greatly experienced past director of several GTP shows who is once again ‘treading the boards’, and a young member in his second year at Holyrood High School who is enjoying his first venture onto the stage.
Producer Garry Donaldson said: “The observing cast and crew have been both moved and amused by this wonderful play as it has unfolded and developed in rehearsals, under the nurturing and attentive eye of the director, Darren Hall.”
