New Lanark Victorian Fair coming on September 2

AN event which began nostalgically recalling New Lanark’s Victorian heyday is building up quite a bit of history itself!

For three decades now the New Lanark Victorian Fair has been a popular end-of-summer event in the Clydesdale social calendar and it looks to be a tradition that will carry on for many a year yet.

The 2012 event, on Sunday, September 2, in the World Heritage village, features its annual, highly popular period-themed street fair, proceedings being started at noon with the rousing music of Lanark and District Pipe Band.
