Pic of the Week: Chaffinch Chitchat by Alan Robertson
This year the Camera Club members were challenged to produce themed images; I got ‘Nature’ as one of my subjects.
Working to a deadline, I took advantage of one of the few bright, sunny, spring days to visit the RSPB’s photographers’ hide at Lochwinnoch and was lucky enough to capture this image of two feisty male chaffinches.
I used a Nikon D7000 camera fitted with a Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 zoom lens, shutter speed 1/2000 second at f/6.3 and ISO 800.
