Pic of the Week: Heron with nesting material by Peter DeMarco
This image taken at Craufurdland Estate Fisheries, Fenwick.
It was perfect lighting conditions not to bright but enough to freeze the action at 1600 of a second and a good low ISO 200 to retain clean details in the feathers.
Focused on the birds eye with an 4f stop using a 600mm fixed lens and cable release to avoid any camera shake attached to a canon 1D MkIV.
