I drove to Portencross hoping for a March sunset, but instead found a winter squall sweeping quickly down the length of Arran.
I had to rush to set up with the scene changing quickly before me.
There was some post-processing to emphasise the contrast between threatening clouds and shafts of light shining through the snow shower.
Taken with my Canon 50D on a tripod, exposure 1/80 at f13.
