Pic of the Week: Scottish Sunset by Ross Eaglesham

I took this image on the way back from an engagement at the Piersland Hotel in Troon.

It was taken at Western Gailes Golf Club looking over the railway line.

I lay down in the thistles and heather to get something in the foreground and loved how the golden light was catching the grass in front of me.

It was shot handheld on my 7D with a 17mm lens to get as much of the scene in as possible.

Settings were ISO 250, f14 and 1/100th second. I processed it in lightroom and just lightened the grass slightly - most of it is how it was.
