Pic of the Week: Splash Through by Sheena Rainey

I have had a keen interest in photography since the age of nine when I acquired my first camera.

I enjoy a wide variety of photography; however, over the past year I have been inspired through our club members sharing their talents during club tutorials to try my hand at creative photography.

This is a composite shot using a wooden floor, book and milk splash all combined in Photoshop. Happy to say it is the highest scoring creative image I have had in club competitions to date.

I used my Canon 7D with a Tamron 100mm lens set at F8, speed 1/400 and ISO 800 with defused flash for the book. For the milk splash the flash and camera were set to a much higher speed of 1/1000 second.
