Pic of the Week: The Concert, by Gill Williamson

Last year, courtesy of a friend, I managed to get a ticket for the Kylie ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour at the Hydro in Glasgow.

I had never been to a Kylie concert before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I did take along with me my pocket sized Fuji X10.

This particular image took a number of tries before I got the shot that I was looking for.

The laser lights spilling across the stage and audience were mesmerising and I wanted to try and capture that.

You couldn’t anticipate which way the lasers were going or what colours they were going to be but I was pleased to get this colourful shot.

My Fuji X10 was set at F4.5, ISO 2,000 with a shutter speed of 1/100. The focal length 28mm.
