Pic of the Week: Twilight on the Firth, by Nick Weber

Gourock Bay and the Firth of Clyde as seen from Lyle Hill in Greenock is, for me, one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes.

I have always wanted to shoot it in twilight and drove down from Glasgow one summer evening specially to do so.

I used a tripod mounted Canon 5D at a speed of 3.2sec, aperture of f16 with a focal length of 84mm and ISO 250
