Pic of the Week: Vintage Drive by Alan Robertson

I assembled this image from photographs that were taken on two separate occasions to create what I think is a photograph that captures the essence of a Vintage Drive.
Taking a walk in the grounds of Culzean Castle, I took a view down the slightly overgrown avenue of trees that line both sides of the old drive to Culzean Castle. Although the colours and impression pleased me, the image lacked a focal point. A superb vintage Bentley on display in the Riverside Museum in Glasgow fitted the bill. Both images were taken on a Nikon D7000 fitted with an 18mm-105mm zoom lens set at 18mm with the exposure for the image varying according to the location.
