Return of Scots cult hero

THE amazing Martin Stephenson is heading back to the area, headlining the next Noizy Indie Social Club night at Croy Miners’ Welfare on Saturday, November 26.

The singer made his name back in the 1980s with his band Martin Stephenson & The Daintees.

The band released several albums, toured throughout the UK and has the honour and privilege of being the first band to play the famous Glasgow venue, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, back in 1990.

Martin still tours the country, playing his unique rockabilly acoustic sound and not only do you get a fantastic night of live music but some thoroughly entertaining banter between songs.

Support will be from The Starlets and Larry Guild. Doors open at 7pm, tickets £8 and £6 for students. Visit THE NOIZY facebook page for ticket info or phone Brian Deanie on 07770 954239.
