Singing group want more men!

Stamperland-based community singing group, Sounds International is on the hunt for men to join its tenor and bass sections.

The group sing and perform to raise funds for charities and other needy causes, both locally and further afield.

In the last year Sounds International has raised over £10,000 for charities – and more than £75,000 since the group started in 2003.

It now has around 100 members of all ages and has won widespread respect and recognition for its ethos of promoting a closer understanding between people of all beliefs, nationalities and cultures through the unifying effects of music in an evolving four-part repertoire that spans everything from Bach to the Beatles.

The group meets to rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30pm in Stamperland Church Hall in Clarkston and are resuming on August 18 after the summer break.

Potential new male members are invited to go along and hear what the group is all about - there are no scary public auditions and a friendly welcome is guaranteed.
