Solo star itches for success . . .

Rising star iTCH will be headlining King Tut’s in Glasgow on Tuesday as part of Warped’s Kevin Says tour.

Fresh back from extensively touring the states and with his new single Homeless Romantic (feat. Adam Lazzara of Taking Back Sunday) already causing a bit of stir, iTCH is set to make a huge dent in the hip hop/rock world in the very near future.

iTCH told Live: “I’m so excited to finally get back to Glasgow and King Tut’s, it’s been far too long and it’s always a party there.

“I can’t wait for the Kevin Says tour to kick off. I always like bands where it’s about more than just the music .

“ I always try and bring that in to what I do.

“It’s less about genre and more philosophically specific.

“That’s what’s really fun about being solo and this being a new project, it’s freedom.”

Johnny ‘iTCH’ Fox was the lead singer of a punk rock band with a penchant for the ukelele, The King Blues, until their controversial.split last year.

Although he is now going it alone, and support on the tour will come in the shape of Dave Grohl favourites RDGLDGRN and English rockers The Hype Theory .
