The Fab Four live and (almost) in person

Fab Four fans — prepare to flock to the King’s Theatre this week.

Following a successful run in London’s west end, Let It Be is out on tour — and arriving in Glasgow on Monday.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, the worldwide hit show follows the story of the world’s biggest pop group, The Beatles, and their meteoric rise to fame during the swinging
sixties.

Let It Be begins at the famous Cavern Club appearance in 1962 and follows the boys on their journey to America (and a make-or-break appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show), before charting more psychadelic waters and the group’s eventual break-up at the end of the decade.

It’s a theatrical concert which includes 40 of their greatest hits, from I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night and Day Tripper to the iconic Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Strawberry Fields.

The tour is produced by Jamie Hendry Productions (Legally Blonde the Musical and La Cage aux Folles) and Annerin Productions (The Pink Floyd Experience) — so there’s a high pedigree when it comes to past
productions.

There are some new faces alongside some original London cast members, and with successful shows in New York, Germany and Monaco under their belts — not to mention enthusiastic audiences acting as proof that Beatlemania hasn’t gone away after all these years — it’s bound to be a performance to remember.

Let It Be runs at the King’s Theatre from April 28 - May 3.

Tickets are £16.90-£52.90 (plus booking fee) and are available from booking hotline 0844 871 7648 or from www.atgtickets.
