The Polis is at the theatre

THREE decades as a Glasgow copper gave Harry Morris enough material to forge a second career as a writer and entertainer.

Under the stage name of Harry the Polis, he now tours theatres and the after-dinner circuit giving performances based on his nine (so far) volumes of humourous anecdotes.

“It’s particularly Scottish humour,” said Harry. “The stories are about Scottish life, my observations and dialogues I’ve heard. Billy Connolly proves that kind of comedy travels well.”
