Video: Lanark Scouts camp in Oban in late 1940s
This is the second archive film of the 2nd Lanark Scout Group, unearthed while the group were having a clear out a couple of years ago.
It shows the Scouts on a camp in Oban, thought to be 1948 or 49.
The 2nd Lanark Scout Group is the largest youth organisation in Lanark with 200 members, and is one of the oldest Scout Groups in the world as it was founded in 1910.
