Westerwood wins awards

STAFF at the Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort were celebrating this week after picking up a prestigious industry award.

The team at the hotel were chosen as one of only two Scottish based hotels to win the VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation, a title bestowed upon them by BDRC Continental, the UK’s largest independent market research agency.

The hotel staff were awarded with the accreditation for the conference customer service experience delivered between July 2010 and June 2011, and October 2010 to September 2011.

“The Accreditation is one of the most significant awards we can receive as it is based on independent customer feedback,” said Westerwood manager Richard Mayne.

“It is testimony to the success that the team here have had in providing guests with consistently excellent customer service.”
