Thursday April 16

LAST chance to catch Easter Pets at Queen’s Park Glasshouses. 10am-3pm with plenty of fluffy and furry friends to meet. Free event.

EASTER fun continues at The Avenue with the last chance to catch Minecraft workshops. Free event on the gaming craze running noon-4pm.

GIFFNOCK Theatre Players step back to wartime with Accrington Pals, running until Saturday - 7.30pm performances (plus 2.30pm Sat mat) at Eastwood Park Theatre. Tickets £13/£11.

BUSBY and Clarkston Horticultural Society talk on growing quality vegetables. 7.30pm at Clarkston Halls - all welcome.

Friday April 17

SHAWLANDS author Graham Lironi joins Lisa Ballantyne for Aye Write!, and The Mitchell Library in Fiction. 7.30pm-8.30pm at the city centre library. Tickets £9 plus booking fee.

Saturday April 18

FAMILY films continue at Eastwood Park with Monsters University. The Monsters Inc sequel is on at 10am and entry is £2. Call 577 4956 to find out more.

COFFEE morning at Giffnock South Parish Church, in aid of Eastwoodhill Care Home, and the renovation of the healthcare room. 10am-noon, entry £2 adults, £1 children - entry to the quiz is another £1.

EROS Musical Society celebrates its 50th anniversary with Calamity Jane at Eastwood Park Theatre. Runs until April 25, 7.30pm shows plus a 2.30pm Sat mat. Tickets £12-£15.
