FARMERS market returns to Queen’s Park. 10am-2pm for free produce in the heart of the southside.

FAMILY fun at Scotland Street School Museum’s regular arts and crafts session. This week, codes of arms, with sessions running 10am-noon and 2-4pm. Free to join.

BRIDES to be are flocking to the SECC for The Scottish Wedding Show. Today 10am-5pm and tomorrow 11am-5pm.

JOIN Dams to Darnley rangers in spotting flocks of winter birds on the Balgray reservoir. 1-3pm and free to join - although booking is required on 577 4053. Children must be accompanied by an adult and binoculars recommended, if you have them.

GLASGOW Potato Day at The Pearce Institute, Govan. 11am-3pm, with everything from seeds to 2.5kg bags on offer, and 45 varieties. Workshops and charity projects for Water Aid throughout the day.

AN EVENING of Brass at Carlibar Primary. Annual concert featuring the Barrhead Burgh Band, Croy Brass Band, Levern Valley Community Brass and East Renfrewshire Brass Ensemble. 7pm and tickets are £5/£3, available on the door.
