SCOTLAND’S Gardens Open Garden event in Newton Mearns, 1-5pm. Head to Kamares, a hacienda-style house surrounded by mature trees and beech hedge and boasting sculptures and fun topiary - owned by an artist. Kamares is the last house on the left on Broom Road. Entry £4, with Jewish Care Scotland receiving 40 per cent of Scotland’s Garden profits.

JOIN Paul John Dear at the Kinning Park Complex 1-3pm - the latest stop on his charity Drum Trek. The musician is on a rhythmical odyssey, making 27 community drum circles in 26 days from John O’Groat’s to Lands End. Family friendly event and free to join - for info, visit www.drumtrek.org.

FAMILY singalong with Pollokshaws Community Choir. Join the choir at Pollokshaws Methodist Church Monday this week and next, 1.30-2.30pm for a free event run by the Pollokshaws Area Network.
