The Pollok House paintings have been cursed and fading away by a witch’s dark spell. Help us uncover the Witch’s Secret and stop the terrible curse. Parents and children work together with help from the servants to find the answers to the clues in order to uncover the Witches’ Secret. Space is limited and children must be accompanied by an adult. Until Wednesday, August 5, the debut film from Irish writer/director Mark Noonan, You’re Ugly Too tells the story of Stacey (newcomer Lauren Kinsella), a young girl who is forced to live with her uncle (Game of Thrones’ Aidan Gillen) after the death of her mother. Unexpectedly thrown together, the two slowly and cautiously get to know one another, in this tender and bittersweet low-key character drama. You’re Ugly Too marks a modest but promising beginning for the careers of both Noonan and Kinsella.

Last chance to see SURGE Community Street Theatre finding new ways to surprise and startle shoppers on the streets of Glasgow. The ever-popular Community Street Theatre tour lets those new to outdoor performance learn fun new roles before hitting the town with professional performers for a surreal walkabout session. ON the buses. 10am-5pm. Old Bridgeton bus garage on Fordneuk Street is a heritage centre for buses and commercial vehicles, with more than 100 buses, coaches, commercial vehicles and fire appliances in the collection. Vehicles are usually owned by individuals or small groups and range from hulks rescued from scrap yards and awaiting restoration to fully restored and active examples.

From Tuesday-Thursday, August 4-6, 10am-3pm. Whitecraigs Holiday Camp, is open to anyone willing to give rugby a try and will cater to all abilities in a fun and safe environment. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5

Whitelee Visitor Centre invite kids to take part in some wildlife inspired games and activities and see if they have the speed of a hare or jumping skills of a frog hopper. This is a great way to get the kids off the games console and out in the fresh air to take part in some fun activities and games. The club is always popular so please book your place ASAP to avoid disappointment. The club runs every Wednesday from 10.30am-noon for six weeks during the summer holidays and registering allows parents to leave children over five with the rangers to take part. Barrhead Baby Cafe is a free weekly meet-up for pregnant women and breastfeeding mums. Partners are welcome too. Baby Café is for all pregnant women and breastfeeding mums. It doesn’t matter if you’re exclusively breastfeeding, combination feeding, weaning, or you simply want to know more about breastfeeding - we are here to support you. All children are welcome and our session includes toys for babies and young children.
