WE have five family tickets to the GWCT Scottish Game Fair to give away in this week’s competition.

The GWCT Scottish Game Fair takes place in the beautiful grounds of Scone Palace, on the banks of the River Tay just outside Perth, from Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1.

The Fair, run by the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, is a real family-friendly event with something for everyone - whether you like to watch, participate or spend.

Human activities include fishing and shooting competitions, tug-o-war, stunt cyclists, 4x4 off-road driving, archery and French horn blowers, while animal activities include gundog demonstrations, hilarious terrier racing, competitive scurry competitions, dancing sheep, racing sheep plus many others from the animal kingdom, like ducks, ponies, reindeer and falcons, showing off what they do best.

If you prefer shopping, crafts and food there are over 400 trade stands selling just about everything, a superb food hall, a craft marquee and lots of eating and drinking choices.

Last year some 36,000 people attended the fair, setting a new attendance record. The organisers hope to see an even better turnout for 2012.
