This award positions him within the top ten site managers in Scotland, and Taylor Wimpey has confirmed that he is leading the site construction team at its Westfield Gardens development at Maidenhill – the new urban quarter and masterplan that is now coming to life at Newton Mearns.

The NHBC Seal of Excellence Award follows David’s seventh Pride in the Job award, and recognises his outstanding work and leadership at Taylor Wimpey’s Castle Gardens development in Crookston.

This year’s awards follow several Pride in the Job accolades over the years since David’s first Pride in the Job Award in 2011 and a ‘Seal of Excellence’ top ten ranking in that year too.

David joined Taylor Wimpey 18 years ago, as an assistant site manager. He has been a senior site manager for the last 12 years and is focussed on delivering quality new homes at Taylor Wimpey’s Westfield Gardens.

He said: “I’ve enjoyed great success in the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards over the years, and I’m excited to be working with the team at our development at Westfield Gardens, Maidenhill in Newton Mearns to deliver the high-quality homes that we expect to produce for our customers.

“Being recognised as one of the top ten site managers in Scotland reflects the hard work and dedication from the full site team at my last development in Castle Gardens.

“I am absolutely determined to ensure the team at Westfield Gardens works just as hard to emulate this success, and make sure this development offers an equally impressive place to call home.”

Audrey Ross, sales & marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland added: “We’re really proud of David’s NHBC achievements over the years, and we know that he will deliver an exceptional range of new homes for our customers at Maidenhill.”

This development is part of the wider Maidenhill masterplan, which will see the creation of 625 private homes and 209 affordable homes to meet the needs of the area.

The Maidenhill development will feature the new Maidenhill Primary School and nursery, which is under construction and due to open later this year.
