Owner of Battlefield Rest Marco Giannasi said: “We have been Highly Recommended by Peter Irvine ‘Scotland the Best’ in the new guide that was launched last night in Edinburgh and in the same week, after an intense voting campaign, by the ‘List Magazine’, we are in the final five places in the shortlist for the Readers Award!

“As they say there is no two without three! The UK Hardens Restaurant Guide has just included us in the 2019 edition.

“We started in 1994 and 25 years later it is so amazing to still be able to sustain this magical moment. Our staff is absolutely so dedicated and loyal that you could not ask for better.”

Marco continued: “All of the Southside has been magnificent to us over the years, we could not ask for more and for the Extra to be so supportive as well.
