Mark of respect due to take place at area’s stations

Stations at Cumbernauld, Croy and Greenfaulds will fall silent for one minute today (Wednesday)to remember those who died in the Stonehaven derailment.

Scotrail staff across the country will remember the passing of colleagues Brett McCullough, Donald Dinnie and passenger Christopher Stuchbury at 9.43pm.

A statement from Scotrail staff said : “Our hearts remain broken and will do for a long time.”

Meanwhile, fire crew members and Fire Brigades Union officials laid three bouquets of flowers at Aberdeen railway station to showw their own mark of respect for Brett, Donald and Christopher.
