ScotRail expands bikes scheme

ScotRail not only encourages cyclists to use local trains '“ it's now offering customers bikes for hire at Glasgow and several other stations.

The roll-out of the Bike&Go scheme at Glasgow Central station aims to get over the message that more ScotRail customers can now continue their journeys in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way - “reaffirming the train operator’s commitment to encourage sustainable, integrated travel”.

The Bike&Go system makes it possible for anyone to hire one of the four bikes at the station for 24 hours, for just £3.80.
