It was packed to its 250 capacity on both nights as the girls, from S1 to S6, strutted their stuff on the stage.

A Night At the Movies featured a variety of box office smash hits from musicals such as Mamma Mia and Hairspray, dances from the likes of Slumdog Millionaire, the Hunger Games and a fantastic piece from dark thriller Black Swan.

Biggar High teacher Fiona Thomson was one of three producers, alongside fellow teachers Vikki Epton and Shona McKelvie.

Fiona said: “The S3 to S6 girls choreographed all their dances by themselves but the S1 and S2 girls had theirs choreographed by senior pupils Lisa McCranor, Bronwyn Smalls and Skye Watson and they did a fantastic job.

“There was something for everyone – from mums and dads to younger kids.
