High Mill PS World of Work Week 2014 Slideshow

PUPILS at Carluke’s High Mill Primary School got the chance to dress up in a variety of different outfits as they enjoyed a varied programme of activities during their recent World of Work Week.

The youngsters visited local businesses and listened to parents, friends and invited guests talk about their working lives during presentations at the school.

Head teacher Marion Girdwood said: “It was a fantastic week with never a dull moment!

“The children were all talking about what they’d like to do when they are older and they learned lots about money and the world of work.”

P1 and P4/5 youngsters visited a local farm and Tesco supermarket to discover more about ‘Farm to Fork’ – teaching them more about the foods we eat daily.
