High Mill pupils at Nether Affleck Farm Slideshow
PUPILS from High Mill Primary School in Carluke swapped the classroom for the cowshed as they learned all about life on the farm.
The children travelled to Nether Affleck Farm, near Lanark, where farmer Jim Baird gave the P2 and P3 children a tour around the premises.
High Mill head teacher Marion Girdwood said the pupils loved every minute of it, adding: “The children are doing a farming topic in class so it was a great thrill for them to be taken around a real life farm.

The visit was set up by the Royal Highland Education Trust and sponsored by supermarket giant Tesco.
