Vacancies for school cleaners in East Dunbartonshire to help the Covid-19 response

East Dunbartonshire Council are to take on an extra 72 school cleaners to help support its Covid-19 response.

The council has advertised the vacancies on its website.

It reads: “Positions will be in various locations within East Dunbartonshire

“To help us support the Covid-19 response with enhanced measures for cleaning, East Dunbartonshire Council is appointing an additional 72 day time cleaners for all of our schools.

“As part of the team, we are enhancing the resources with a variety of opportunities available to support our schools throughout the day. Our roles will operate across the school day largely between 9am and 3pm.

“You will have a desire to deliver excellent cleaning standards through a positive approach to customer service.”

Full-time wage is £18,018.54 - £18,790.21 per year, with salary pro-rated for part-time and term-time positions.
