Covid: Latest figures for East Dunbartonshire ahead of today’s lockdown level review

Here is the most up-to-date coronavirus figures for East Dunbartonshire, ahead of the First Minister’s review to the Scottish Parliament this afternoon (Tuesday) over lockdown levels.

The seven-day positive cases locally based on people tested between November 28 and December 4 was 113, according to Public Health Scotland.

The seven-day positive rate per 100,000 people in East Dunbartonshire was 104.

The average area in Scotland had 87 positive cases per 100,000 over the same period.

Sadly, the number of coronavirus-registered deaths in East Dunbartonshire now stands at 190.

East Dunbartonshire is in tier 4 at the moment and is due to move to a lower level.

It appears unlikely that the area will move below tier 3.
